Hi! My name is Priscilla (she/her) and I’m the Cancer and Womxn’s Health committee head! I'm a third year majoring in Molecular & Cell Biology with an emphasis on Medical Biology & Physiology and minoring in Nutritional Sciences. I joined AMWA spring semester of my freshman year because I was lost and confused about what classes to take and overall what to do as a pre-med. After joining the club, I immediately felt welcomed and supported by the amazing, intelligent, and hard-working group of young women. I've been able to learn a lot about the different paths & opportunities as a pre-med, but I've also gotten the chance to work on a range of projects as a member of the CWH committee. A few of my favorite memories in AMWA include making phone charms for a fundraiser, brunch with my big/little fam, and our end-of-semester banquets. Outside of classes and extracurriculars, I enjoy drinking matcha lattes, baking cookies, and spending time with loved ones. I am so excited to continue being part of the AMWA family as well as serving to support each other & our community!
